Hi, our names are Asia and Esther, we are the brains behind Pure Roots. We are two best friends who went to university and flatted together, an arrangement that evolved into a business partnership. We had a shared passion for rejuvenating our damaged hair and with a lot of research perfected our Pure Roots formula. Finding natural ways to nourish our bodies is something that pertains high importance to us both. Pure is a word that we believed was often cast aside in contemporary society, with many people electing for chemical fixes instead of using the healing properties that nature has gifted us. Nature is the most benevolent benefactor of planet earth, it gives us all the tools that are needed to flourish. We have merely harnessed the power in some of natures gifts, and created a formula specifically designed to rejuvenate and ultimately nurture hair. Our product has brought us so much joy, something that we are excited to share with you. We hope you choose to join us on a healthy hair journey. We are obsessed and we know you will be too! 

Why we do not use bubble wrap for packing 

Everything that is in our formula is a byproduct of Mother Earth and the environment. We are conscious that humans have abused the earth and are constantly putting it under more pressure. While we aren't perfect in our footprint, ensuring that we find ways to try and lessen the harm is a top priority for us. The wrap that your bottle will arrive in is made from recycled cardboard boxes. By reusing these we hope that we are creating a positive impact on the environment. Not only this but we also hope that we are inspiring others to also make the small changes, for these leave monumental impacts on our earth.

We are always open to suggestions on how we make our product more sustainable, any suggestions that you have we would love to hear as we are always searching for ways to better both ourselves and our company.

From bleaching, to chemically straightening, and using excessive heat, we have done it all. As you can probably guess, our hair has not had the easiest journey. We are proof that our formula is suited to any hair type, for we are opposite in that realm. One of us has thick curls, and the other fine straight hair.
